Black-eyed Susan

But make the petals orange.

A surprise, really, because I have a love/hate relationship with the colour. But I was taken by the contrast it created with the light blue.

Painted pattern in a small notebook of tumbling orange Black-eyed Susan flowers with a bright blue background

Outlining in black made the contrast between the two colours even more dramatic. It also helps hide the wobbles. I like it.
