White lotus
The series, not the flower.
Like a tacky birthday card, I open to this page and the disconcerting music from the series credits start rolling.
I decided to choose colours I don’t naturally lean toward, as well as using five colours, rather than three. I started with doubt, but by the time I finished, it had grown on me.
I don’t love it, but I do like the way the khaki and the lavender work together. I like how the blossom spray (the tiny lavender dots) changes the whole feel of the thing.
I also dipped my toe into the intertwining of the elements. It’s not quite right, but I’ve gained the confidence to try it again.
