Amigurumi charcutería

I don’t mind projects that take me years to complete, but sometimes, I need the hit of dopamine tout de suite.

Turns out, I needed something like this project. Did I stop with olives? Absolutely not.

I ended up making a small deli. I made chorizo, salchichón, chipolata and eggs. I also made morcilla, but alas, I forgot to include it in the shoot.

It was fun to make a project that popped straight out of my head and that could be finished within a few weeks. It certainly made me think of Marx’s theory of alienation.

Of course, I gave this little package to my mother, but not before wrapping everything in butcher’s paper and string. She promptly popped them in a box for the shipping container bound for Spain.
